Les Frères des Batignolles and their old-fashioned kebabs in Barbès

Not content with already delighting the 17th arrondissement,Ercan and Ozcan Kaya, the two brothers at the helm of the place, are now arriving in the 18th arrondissement, on the Barbès side, with their old-fashioned kebabs.

And an old-fashioned kebab means an unchanged secret recipe: homemade bread, baked on the spot every day, French meat marinated for a long time and carefully seasoned, French vegetables most of the time, homemade white sauce, just like the plump, crispy fries.

As you'll have gathered, there's no superfluity here, no fresh cheese or aromatic herbs for show. And on the à la carte menu, only one recipe, worked down to the last detail and available in bread, galette or plate form.
