The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) are an opportunity to rediscover our national treasures this weekend, from Saturday September 20 to Sunday September 21, 2025 . What an opportunity to experience and visit Paris and the Île-de-France region during these exceptional days: many cultural, historical and artistic sites open their doors to us free of charge during this unmissable event.
It's a chance to (re)discover the region's churches, cathedrals, chapels and basilicas, through open doors, guided tours and special events. These places steeped inhistory and filled withworks of art invite us to discover their secrets and stories, thanks to unprecedented tours that often take us into places to which you don't normally have access.
Every year, the European Heritage Days are an opportunity for millions of curious visitors to discover their region's finest historical and cultural treasures, free of charge or at a reduced cost. During this exceptional weekend, we take the opportunity to visit monuments, institutions and curiosities usually closed to the public, and have fun with the many events that bring these places to life.
