Including the five navigation zones within the whole of the Île-de-France region (and bordering départements), the Navigo Pass enables users to travel freely and, above all, unlimitedly within the Ile-de-France region. From Rambouillet to Dourdan, via Paris, Saint-Denis, Versailles... It lets you board buses, streetcars, metros, RER and Transiliens at will.
As a bonus, annual or monthly Navigo passes also entitle you to emergency tickets. Valid for 24 hours, these ephemeral tickets take the place of your usual Navigo pass, should you temporarily forget it. The annual pass entitles you to up to three tickets for all zones in the Paris region, while the monthly pass entitles you to up to two.
To obtain this temporary ticket, you need to go to one of the RATP ticket offices. Completely free of charge and with no extra charge on your season ticket, it's a real plus in case you forget, so you don't have to pay for all your tickets to get around during the day!
