You've been dreaming of going to the Cannes Film Festival 2025, of climbing the famous red steps and discovering the new films before anyone else, but you just couldn't make it? Are you an avid cinephile or just curious about the 7th art? Then this selection is for you.
Few people know it, but it's possible to discover the films in competition at the Cannes Film Festival 2025 in several Paris cinemas just a few days after the festival-goers!
From the end of May and throughout June, head to the MK2 Bibliothèque, the Arlequin, the Cinémathèque Française and other cinemas in Paris and the Ile-de-France region for previews of the features and shorts presented in the Official Competition and Un Certain Regard, as well as at the Quinzaine des Cinéastes, Semaine de la Critique andAcid.
The opening ceremony will be broadcast live on France 2 and in several Paris cinemas, followed by the opening film of the Cannes 2025 Festival, Partir un Jour by Amélie Bonnin, starring Juliette Armanet.
