The organization Imagine for Margo, responsible for the annual Children Without Cancer race, has been hosting for over a decade. In 2018, they launched the inaugural City edition at La Défense, aiming to rally local businesses and residents from the Paris business district and surrounding neighborhoods. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 2, 2026, to take part in this renewed edition of the essential charity urban run — a vibrant event combining sport and solidarity!
Put on your best sneakers and run or walk for 5 to 10 kilometers to raise funds for research into pediatric cancers, particularly brain tumors. Today, 1 in 440 children is diagnosed with cancer before the age of 15. As with many races, you need to pay an entry fee and raise 200 euros to take part, or form a team to pool the funds.
An entertainment village will be set up on the La Défense esplanade during the race, featuring a DJ, a photo booth, temporary tattoos, artistic and sporting performances, warm-up and stretch sessions before and after the run, as well as on-route activities, creating a lively and friendly atmosphere. It’s a fantastic way to experience this business district anew — all while supporting a good cause!
