The town of Auvers-sur-Oise and its Union Sportive invite you to trace the footsteps of the personalities who left their mark on the town, during the Painter’s Trek, on Sunday, September 13, 2026. This grand cycle ride is open to cyclists, who can choose from four distances to push themselves while taking in the scenic countryside of the Vexin Regional Natural Park: 42 km, 68 km, 86 km or 105 km.
Departure from the École Vavasseur, in the center of town, between 7 and 9:30 a.m., for what promises to be a very sporty ride! Don't forget to bring plenty of hydration and a bite to eat if you're hungry, because even if the kilometers are swallowed up more quickly by bike, they're still great distances. If you're as sporty as you are a lover of art and history, you'll be able to see the landscapes that have so inspired painters like Van Gogh, who lived in this village and should visit it on your way back to the starting point.
Come on, get in the saddle and get ready to be blown away by the scenery… and your legs! Expect to pay 8 euros to sign up for this long ride.
