On May 23 and 24, 2026, Paris will stride in stilettos with the return of the Heels Convention France. For two days, the capital becomes the epicenter of a discipline that blends power, sensuality and millimetric technique. A international camp brings together the cream of global choreography for intensive workshops, open to both devoted amateurs and professionals seeking to refine their craft.
In the Micadanses studio, the historic jewel of the Marais, participants will work with icons from around the world. Among them, Whitney Jones (recently seen alongside Usher and Kanye West), Dana Shermister (Jason Derulo), Regina Morelife, Jasmine Nurakhmetova and Rony Louanne. With such choreographers, classes are expected to be conducted mainly in English, something to plan for those who may need more advanced technical explanations.
Beyond performance, this camp is a celebration of stage presence and self-confidence. Plan to bring several pairs of suitable shoes, as two days of intensive workshops can take a toll on your feet. If you only want to attend a single class, budget 45 euros; otherwise, a day pass runs at 180 euros.
It is important to note, however, that while the event aims to be inclusive, the intensity of the choreographies and the technical level of these international guests can prove intimidating for complete beginners: a basic grounding in dance is strongly recommended to fully enjoy the experience. You can also try a class ahead of the event at Danse Cabaret Academy for an introduction.
