10-km wine trail at Domaine de Paris Gravelle, where running meets a countryside feast

The Viti-trail at Domaine de Paris Gravelle returns on September 6, 2026 for a 10 km run through the vineyards, followed by an aperitif and an al fresco countryside meal.

The Paris Gravelle Wine Estate is launching the second edition of its 10-km Viti-Trail on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

Starting at 10:30, participants can run through the vineyards and the estate’s leafy grounds on a timed course. The morning continues from noon with an aperitif, a tasting, and an alfresco picnic lunch, available by registration.

A 10 km course weaving through vineyards and tree-lined avenues

The start will be given at 10:30 on a straight stretch of the estate. The runners will then head toward the vineyards, tackling a rise, before running along the plots and weaving through the broad cross avenues.

The course will continue through the tree-lined space for activities and discovery. Participants will have to climb up and then descend a slope, whose terrain has been softened compared with the first edition, before winding through the various tree-lined avenues. The finish will be on the same straight stretch as the start.

The race will be timed, and results will be announced at the end of the event. Among the key features of the course:

  • a total distance of 10 km, with the option to run only part of the course;
  • start and finish on a straight section of the estate;
  • a climb toward the vineyards;
  • sections along the plots and through the wide cross avenues;
  • a shaded area featuring an embankment and several avenues.
Sign-ups open for the Viti-trail race at the Paris Gravelle wine estate
This course en plein air is for runners who want to discover a vineyard route distinct from a typical urban race. Participants can complete the 10 km or opt to run only part of the distance. The event should appeal to athletes with diverse goals, who come to run in a setting that blends vineyards, tree-lined avenues, climbs and descents.

Post-race aperitif, tasting and a countryside-style meal

After the effort, the day continues from noon with an outdoor aperitif and a countryside-style meal. The meal will feature grilled meat. A tasting aperitif option is also offered after the Viti-trail.

Registration for the meal is mandatory so the organizers can plan the necessary quantities. Registration for the race, the meal, and the tasting aperitif is done separately via the links provided on the event page.

Bib pick-up and what to wear

Race bib pickup can be done the day before the race, on Saturday, September 5, 2026, between 11:00 and 12:00. This window is preferred. A second pickup will be possible on Sunday morning, between 8:30 and 9:30, before the start scheduled at 10:30.

To navigate the estate’s trails, visitors and participants are asked to wear closed-toe athletic footwear, such as sneakers. Weather-appropriate clothing is also required, whether it’s hot, rainy, or windy.
