Running, walking or taking part in a relay: the 7 and 8 November 2026, the Paris-Saclay Running Tour is back for a second edition with an expanded program. A major novelty this year is a 42.195 km marathon added to the existing distances, featuring a course that winds through eight municipalities of the Paris-Saclay urban area.
The event aims to stay accessible to runners of all levels. Participants will be able to choose between a 5 km, a 10 km, a half-marathon or the new marathon, while a 1.5 km kids' race will be organized on Saturday.
Some distances will be contested individually, but also as relay or in a joëlette, to enable people with disabilities to participate in the same events. The 5 km will also be open to walking. The children's races and the sports village will take place on Saturday, November 7, followed by the adults' races (including the 5 km walk) on Sunday, November 8, 2026.
The new marathon will take runners across a wide swath of the region, linking Gif-sur-Yvette, Saint-Aubin, Saclay, Bièvres, Igny, Vauhallan, Palaiseau and Orsay. The route will weave between scientific campuses, urban spaces, farmland and wooded areas. Runners will pass close to several Paris-Saclay landmarks, including École Polytechnique, the CEA, Paris-Saclay University Hospital and EDF Lab. A portion of the course will also follow the alignment of the future Grand Paris Express Line 18.
