Featuring iconic outfits, poetic objects, and designer creations, it offers a chic, playful, and distinctly Parisian journey through style.

Christie’s invites you to immerse yourself in the world of Mathilde & Friends in Paris, a free exhibition running from January 28 to February 4, 2026. Previewing the online sale taking place from January 26 to February 4, this event offers a behind-the-scenes look. Mathilde Favier, head of public relations at Maison Dior, opens the doors to her world: every object, every piece, every detail reflects her personal style and embodies the Parisian spirit — a woman of taste and a lover of beauty.

Iconic outfits, poetic talismans, and surprising treasures... This exhibition reveals the secrets of an intimate world inspired by Mathilde’s book Mathilde à Pais. It offers a heartfelt journey through the city, where encounters and friendships are transformed into objects rich with history. Tatiana de Nicolay, an aquarellist and illustrator, creates a scenography that turns the space into a poetic and refined trail, where every piece seems to whisper Mathilde’s mantra: Parisian chic is never about money, but about style.

In the prestigious auction houses of the 8th arrondissement, visitors can also discover creations and artworks by Julie de Libran, Jacques Grange, Constance Rubini, Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne, Janine Janet, Mario Buccellati, and Jean Dunand. The art of tableware takes on a festive air with pieces by Félix Bracquemond and Rosenthal, while fashion and jewelry — featuring iconic designs from Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Dior, Claude Lalanne, JAR, and Boucheron — add a touch of glamour to the collection. Among the star pieces are a chintz sofa, a symbol on the cover of her book, and pearled chairs from West Africa.

Here, style borders on mischief and good taste is a shared experience, blending elegance, Parisian whimsy, and urban poetry—traits that Mathilde holds dear.
