From Porte de Brancion, in the south of Paris, you can walk to Massy via the Coulée Verte. Considered the green lung of southern Paris, this pedestrian and bicycle path offers a gentle 12-kilometer route! Close to the Château de la Malmaison, between Rueil-Malmaison, Vaucresson and Bougival, this 200-hectare forest offers a breath of fresh air. With its sports trail, discovery trail and cycle path, La Malmaison forest invites you to breathe in the fragrant scents of oak, chestnut and Scots pine, and to relax around its huge pond.
Located on the left bank of the Seine, the Meudon state forest is the largest forest in the Hauts-de-Seine department. Accessible by bike from the Pont de Saint-Cloud, or from the RER C station at Meudon, you'll need a bit of courage to climb the Meudon hills, but once you're there, you're in for a treat. With over 1100 hectares, the forest offers a green break west of the capital. Walkers will find 16.5 kilometers of trails, for a 5-hour stroll through woods, ponds and vast expanses of green.
