Don't call it Toon Studio anymore—at least not this part, but Worlds of Pixar! Disneyland Paris has announced, via a post on the social networks of its ambassador, the restructuring of a zone already in place within the Walt Disney Studios, replacing Toon Studio. This Worlds of Pixar refers to a area located in the park's east, with only its boundaries redefined (no changes to the attractions).
A zone dedicated to animation studios featuring Toy Story Playland, the Ratatouille area, Crush's Coaster, and the two Cars attractions (Cars Rallye Quatre Roues and Cars Road Trip, which opened its doors over the summer). Note, however, that Toon Studio hasn’t vanished entirely; according to OutsideEars, Animagique Theater, Animation Celebration and Aladdin Flying Carpet remain tied to this zone.
According to OutsideEars, some buildings will get their façades revised and refreshed with a fresh coat of paint to make the area more cohesive. A "new" zone that fits into the ambitious investment plan announced in 2018 by Bob Iger, including the park's expansion with three new areas whose openings are slated to roll out in stages from 2022: Avengers Campus, a Frozen Zone, and a Star Wars area.
