The canals of the Serenissima have widened to reach the Yvelines: they bring with them strange characters, who seem to be taking part in a mysterious festival...
On this Sunday, September 14, 2025, the Château de Breteuil is hosting a carnival: some 30 costumed people are strolling the garden paths, waiting to meet visitors. These members of the Au fil des idées association offer a magnificent vision: between two groves of this remarkable garden, we can admire unusual-looking individuals, richly dressed in impressive costumes, with bright, cheerful colors.
This beautiful animation will brighten up your stroll around the Château de Breteuil. These formal gardens are already adorned with statues, flower beds, fountains and a labyrinth... Embark on an unusual treasure hunt, in search of these masked Venetians, who stroll among the trees with their blushing leaves.
Of course, there's nothing to stop you from joining in the fun: how about coming to the estate in your best costume, hidden behind your wolf?
