Rendez-Vous aux Jardins 2025 at MAC/VAL (94): the bucolic program!

When the fine weather returns to Paris, new events are springing up all over theÎle-de-France region. Here comes one of the highlights of the Parisian cultural calendar, which combines culture and nature: the Rendez-Vous aux Jardins. The principle is simple: a weekend in the country, celebrating botanical heritage through a series of events including concerts, workshops and guided tours, with the added bonus of some exceptional openings. Venues of all kinds lend themselves to the game: private gardens, fascinating museums, castles steeped in history and even institutions usually closed to the general public. The next Rendez-Vous aux Jardins is scheduled for the weekend of June 6-8, 2025.

Rendez-Vous aux Jardins 2025 at the MAC/VAL in Vitry-sur-Seine (94), the program

• Family visit to the MAC VAL sculpture garden

  The MAC VAL is surrounded by a departmental park of over 10,000 m². Embellished with sculptures from the museum's collection, this landscaped garden was created in a minimalist spirit by Gilles Vexlard. The museum forms a protective enclosure around this space, composed of multiple species of trees and plants. It's also a place where you can gather with family and friends to contemplate the works of the MAC VAL.

  To mark the "Rendez-vous aux jardins", the museum is offering special tours to discover this unique garden and the works it contains by Julien Berthier, Christian Boltanski, Eugène Dodeigne, Sara Favriau, Didier Marcel, Alain Séchas and James Webb.
