Every year, many Parisians flock to them. In the Buttes-Chaumont, on the banks of the Seine, in Asnières and soon in Javel... the terraces of Rosa Bonheur are waiting to delight us! Rosa Bonheur des Buttes-Chaumont, the emblematic guinguette nestled in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, awaits us from Thursday to Sunday, in the heart of the Buttes-Chaumont park. Southern ambience, tapas and DJ sets await you in a festive, bucolic setting.
It's one of those places you love to come back to when the sun comes out. Rosa Bonheur des Buttes-Chaumont is located in one of the capital's most beautiful green spaces, the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, offering a joyful and convivial interlude. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by the scent of pissaladière and the notes of a playlist ranging fromAnnie Cordy to Daft Punk, a clever mix that sets the tone: here, people come as much to sip a chilled rosé as to dance the night away.
If you're strolling through the park, looking for a shady terrace to enjoy a pizza and a beer, this is the spot for you. This café-bistro is designed to be festive and convivial, and you'll be carried away by the music of the 80s and 90s.
The guinguette spirit so dear to the Rosa Bonheur house, inspired by the festive traditions of the Camargue, is here to celebrateopenness to all generations. Families, trendy thirty-somethings, Sunday joggers and regulars of the bals populaires meet here without fuss, around large tables or on the improvised dance floor of the bandstand. True to its reputation, the restaurant offers simple, generous Mediterranean cuisine: tapas, pizzas, charcuterie, artisanal ice creams, all accompanied by a selection of southern wines, craft beers and house cocktails.
But Rosa Bonheur is also a musical program that punctuates the seasons. Every week, the "Jeudis des Buttes-Chaumont" (Thursdays at the Buttes-Chaumont ) set the mood for electro in the heart of nature, while the "Dimanches aux Buttes" (Sundays at the Buttes)bring the weekend to a close with festive sounds and free dancing. The green setting, with views of the park's waterfalls and cliffs, adds to the magic of the moment.
Accessible via the Botzaris or Jourdain stations, the venue is open Thursday to Sunday from 12pm to midnight. We recommend arriving early for the best seats, especially on the terrace overlooking the park. You can continue your stroll by strolling up to the suspension bridge or down to the banks of the lake.
Rosa Bonheur remains aParisian summer staple, a festive yet relaxed rendezvous that combines the pleasure of the senses with the freedom of being. A guinguette with a generous soul, to be (re)discovered as the seasons go by, in this corner of the 19th arrondissement where the city becomes the countryside.
