Terrasses Paris 17: Our best spots to stop for a drink in the 17th arrondissement

Here are the terraces to enjoy the 17th arrondissement outdoors, in the Batignolles area, around Place des Ternes, La Plaine-Monceau, and Porte Maillot.

The 17th arrondissement mutates in character, depending on the metro stop you exit at. In the Batignolles, the narrow streets, the market and the independent shops give the neighborhood a relaxed vibe. Near the Martin Luther King Park, the newer buildings tell a story of a more contemporary Paris.

Heading toward the Monceau Plain, broad avenues and Haussmannian façades take the lead, while the place des Ternes and the Porte Maillot inject a more commercial and cosmopolitan vibe, just a few minutes from the Arc de Triomphe. This patchwork makes the 17e arrondissement a particularly pleasant area to explore, without limiting yourself to a single neighborhood!

When the weather turns nice, its terraces become genuine extensions of the neighborhood’s social life. The Batignolles host many of them, but it would be a shame to overlook the tables in Ternes, Pereire, or in the areas around Monceau! Some are perfect for people-watching the district, others favor a quieter or greener setting.

So, for a coffee, a lunch, or simply a drink in the sun, here are the terraces to discover in the 17th arrondissement!
