Just a stone's throw from the Tour d'Argent on Quai de la Tournelle, La Petite Epicerie de la Tour has just opened its doors, offering a multitude of goodies in a single spot. Here, you'll find all your daily essentials, from wines to homemade preserves, as well as a range of bulk products.
Yannick Franques, chef at La Tour d'Argent and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, offers a range of homemade products from La Tour's own kitchens, using his own recipes. Just a few examples? Terrines, foies gras, sausages, but also, for the first time, sauces and salts to accompany fine meats and poultry, such as Challandais duck from Maison Burgaud, also available for sale and ready to cook at home.
Alongside oils, vinegars and mustards, there's also a creamery offering with organic butter and milk from small producers in the Paris region, as well as a selection of cheeses matured by Laurent Dubois, seasonal vegetables from the Paris region, teas and coffees from Brûlerie des Gobelins, organic infusions from Emmanuel Burlot, spice blends from Maison Girofle & Cannelle, and for gourmet breakfasts, jams, spreads, granola and cookies.
