The 13th arrondissement of Paris is home to a place simply called Iconik. Heralded as an original, festive and long-lasting food court, this living space is part of Italik, one of the winning projects in the Réinventer Paris competition, adjacent toItalie Deux.
Behind Iconik is the Hammerson France group, which owns, manages and develops shopping destinations on a European scale, accompanied by Depur Expériences, and finallyEnchanté, which many already know. Formerly Passage Enchanté, this creator and operator of destination venues is notably behind Jardin Suspendu, which opened in the 15th arrondissement and will relocate to the Parc Floral in 2020, as well as Jardin Défendu in La Défense, La Grande Surface and La Bamba.
With Iconik, theEnchanté team aims to"support the necessary transformation of shopping centers and increase their footfall". Enchanté also intends to breathe new life into the 13th arrondissement, which is often neglected by hybrid and transgenerational concepts.
Iconik aims to become the " orchestra conductor for the various events that bring the place to life throughout the day ". How do we achieve this? By offering a unique, immersive design, spread over 400m2 of urban jungle, as well as an indoor and outdoor terrace, and a space combining DJ sets, shows and workshops with 100% pop culture programming. Indeed, there'll be no room for boredom all week long with the program: dj-sets, live music, quiz-pops, karaoke, blind-tests, workshops, happy hours, games and other surprises.
The highlight of the show, however, will be the food market, with seating for 250-300 people, including an all-day bar and a selection of top-quality food concepts. On the food front, the aim of the Iconik project is " to emphasize complementary types of catering, with a shared focus on the experience and dramatization of the offer ". You'll be able to enjoy the very best in street food at Père & Fish, Little Baboei, Kantine, Magna and La Quéquetterie. We'll also be serving cocktails in Cockorico barrelsdesigned by Marc Bonneton - global winner of the Bacardi Legacy 2011 - and original creations such as "Alain Deloin"and "Arlette à Malibu" for the more dehydrated!
Head to the Avenue d'Italie, adjacent to the Italie Deux shopping center, to discover Iconik, Enchanté's fun and festive food hall.
