The large terrace of the Marguerite 1606, which we've already told you about, nestled in the Domaine de la Reine Margot in Issy-les-Moulineaux, is a real hidden treasure just a few minutes from Paris. It's an oasis of greenery, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city. This historic setting, restored and opened at the end of 2023, is distinguished by its listed garden of over one hectare, offering total immersion in a preserved natural environment.
The view of the Eiffel Tower, visible from the terrace, is undoubtedly one of the major assets of this exceptional place. During the day, you can relax in the sunshine and enjoy a meal that celebrates seasonal produce, sourced directly from the adjoining vegetable garden and orchard. In the evening, the magic happens when the Iron Lady lights up, creating a romantic and intimate atmosphere.
Restaurant Marguerite 1606 offers a fine dining experience that honors fresh, local produce, much of it grown on site. The restaurant's vegetal bistronomy tells the story of a place steeped in heritage.
In homage to Marguerite de Valois, the emblematic Bouchées Marguerite, the house's signature dishes , take on new inspirations this season : garnished with cookedvegetables , lobster or classic sweetbreads, they celebrate tradition revisitedwith refinement .

On weekdays , lunch can be adapted to the fast pace of busy people, with a business formula that offers a two- or three-course menu in 45 minutes, based on fresh marketproduce . In the evening , it' s time for a get-together: over an aperitif , discover the house signature cocktail , the perfect opportunity to share a few confidences.
Then comes the pleasures of the table, with springtime offerings to be savored under the last rays of sunshine: Filet of Saint-Pierre with glazedcarrot tops , Roast veal served with texturedartichokes , and to end on a gourmet note , regressive desserts such as Chocolate soufflé with yoghurt ice cream , or Profiteroles with vanilla ice cream topped with chocolatesauce .
In summer, Marguerite 1606 extends the sensory experience with an artisanal sorbet stand on the terrace, for a touch of freshness and color. In the evening, brazier-grilled meats are brought to the table, accompanied by the haunting melodies of live concerts by visiting musicians , for a suspended ambience .
The estate's garden, faithfully restored to the 17th-century layout, boasts over 5,000 m² of orchard and kitchen garden, where some 80 varieties of vegetables, fruit and herbs are grown. A private greenhouse has been transformed into an intimate dining room, perfect for celebrations or discreet lunches.
Whether it's a sunny lunch, a drink at sunset (be sure to try our cocktails and mocktails , which are well worth the detour) or dinner under the stars, the Marguerite 1606 terrace offers an enchanting country interlude, just a stone's throw from the capital. A must-see for lovers of fine discoveries and refined cuisine.
