The Food Market hosts a special spicy and fiery edition this April

Get ready to excite your taste buds! Fans of bold flavors and the adventurous spice lovers are invited to mark their calendars for April 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM, at the Food Market. Head over to the strip between Belleville and Ménilmontant for a new spicy edition that promises to bid farewell to the cold and kick off the spring season in style!

As early as last April, Food Market was already turning up the heat on the Scoville scale with a spicy sauce tasting stand and an array of hot hot hot restaurants. While the lineup for this completely fiery new edition hasn't been announced yet (stay tuned — it won’t be long!), let’s remind you of last year’s lineup to whet your appetite and get your taste buds tingling.

Among the spicy dishes to try in 2025 are Mala Xiangguo from Mala Boom, the hot spicy corn dog from Soma Sando, the chili chocolate cake from BMK, the Sri Lankan hooper from Café du Coin, the rougail sausage from Oté, the fiery plates from Cinq fois plus de piment, and a whole range of spicy street-food dishes crafted by Melt, Mimi’s Charcuterie, Distrito Frances, Kuna Family, and Gili Gili.
