Notice to rice lovers!
A new restaurant has just opened at 221 rue Saint Martin, in the Marais where rice reigns supreme: Riz Riz!
At the origin of this project, 3 friends who wanted in a purified and luminous frame, to put this small grain in the honor!
It must be said that it is found in all the cuisines of the world: from Italian arancini to Thai curry, from Japanese onigri to our unavoidable dessert, rice pudding.
That's why these 3 acolythes wanted to dedicate a place to it.
100% vegetable and 100% gluten free, it is declined in several recipes, from the traditional to the most contemporary.
Thus you have for example on the menu, mezze bowls to share (8/12€) composed of mini mushroom arancinis, homemade hummus on a bed of zucchini & eggplant grilled in the oven or onigris with 2 pestos (7€).
Then, the unavoidable and healthy poke bowl (green asparagus & tofu tempura on a bed of black rice, eggplant caviar & spring onions with espelette pepper, 13€), or if you prefer originality, the Sushi donut (two ellipses of Japanese rice on a bed of nori, accompanied by a house salad & the famous secret sauce of the house, 13€) or the Dragon Curry composed of a bed of Hom Mali rice topped with a real green vegetable curry (12,5€).
Let yourself be tempted by a dessert with the rice pudding & berries (5,50€) or the banana bread.
