Papalito, the generous address for Latino specialities, in the Montparnasse district

Just a stone's throw from the huge Montparnasse Tower, Papalito is one of those places where people come all day long: for lunch with colleagues, in the evening with friends and family, and even for breakfast!

In the Montparnasse district, the Hôtel des Artistes welcomes guests for a night or more, as well as for lunch, dinner or even breakfast at its Papalito restaurant. Here, Latin American specialities take pride of place, to be enjoyed in cosy, intimate surroundings all day long.

On the menu, chef Saly Hafezicasin relies on flavors from across the Atlantic, sunny cuisine and generous plates. Start with tacos (beef, chicken or vegetarian), fried shellfish, cheese nachos or croquetas (breaded croquettes with mushrooms or pork, traditionally served in Spain or Latin America), from €7 to €15.

For drinks, you can choose between signature cocktails featuring typical South American spirits such as mezcal or pisco (from €12.5 to €16) or particularly fruity mocktails (from €8 to €8.5). On the main course, the menu focuses on classics, with generous quesadillas, grilled octopus and roasted king prawns served on an excellent vitelotte mashed potato (from €13.50 to €22 for a main course).

Finally, if you've got room for dessert, don't miss the churros topped with a fairground-style spread, or the brioche perdu with caramel or the poached pear with saffron! Expect to pay between €7 and €11 for these desserts.

As the Papalito is the artists' hotel restaurant, the menu also includes some great breakfast options, with particularly affordable plates (from €5 to €14) and savory classics - omelette, avocado toast and poached egg, granola, etc. - as well as pancakes with your choice of topping! Formulas are available for breakfast (€15 or €19), including pastries, drinks (hot or cold), fruit salad and a choice of dishes. For lunch too, Papalito offers a formula for €19 (starter, main course or main course and dessert), or the whole thing (starter, main course and dessert) for €24!
