In the Saint-Philippe-du-Roule district, in the 8th arrondissement, Bonne Table 's terrace is always busy in summer (or winter, but without a terrace). Bonne Table opened its Saint-Philippe-du-Roule address in March 2024 as the business district's canteen, with a mission to offer gourmet, seasonal cuisine, while enabling people who had lost touch with the workforce to join its teams.
On the menu, a colorful menu with three fixed seasonal dishes (kept on the menu for several months) and three more ephemeral dishes (changing every two weeks). Chicken karaage and mayonnaise, fillet of sea bream served with a nice portion of hummus, ceviche of pollock with quinoa salad... In the kitchen, everything is homemade, with vegetarian options. For dessert, go for the chocolate fondant, the homemade cookie or the dessert of the moment (here, a lemon mousse)! The menu also includes hot and cold drinks. All the meats used in Bonne Table's dishes are French, and 50% of the ingredients used are organic and label products.
What's special is that all our team members are in vocational rehabilitation. Refugees, people far from employment... " We don't ask for any training from our team members, just an appetite for cooking, and we train them with you", explains Bruno de Courtivron, the restaurant's chef and manager, "our aim is for Bonne Table to serve as a springboard for our team members". So, each of them stays from four months to a maximum of two years in the ranks of Bonne Table.
On the price front, this is a particularly affordable lunchtime offering, with a takeaway formula (main course + dessert or main course + drink) for €15.90 and a single price for main courses, at €12.90 each. Dessert is €3.9 (also one price). The terrace is open from March to October, otherwise you can eat inside all year round during the restaurant's opening hours. Bonne Table has another address in the 9th arrondissement (takeaway only) and has opened a guinguette on the quays of the Seine (next to the Pont Neuf) for the next three summers.
