Le Chien Fou, the Tours-based bistro, opens its first restaurant in Paris.

Already present in Tours, Orléans and Poitiers, Le Chien Fou unveils its first Paris address. By mid-September 2026, this bistro, famed for its house-made cooking, sharing plates and its wine cellar, will open its doors on Rue Feydeau in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris.

A new spot dedicated to bistro cuisine will soon open its doors in the Bourse district. Prepare to discover Le Chien Fou, in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, from mid-September 2026! After winning over Tours, Orléans and Poitiers, the brand arrives in the capital with the same recipe that made it a hit: a homemade cuisine, seasonal produce, a relaxed vibe and a menu designed to be shared.

The story of the Chien Fou begins in 2020, after a cycling journey from the United States to Bolivia led by Jean Poirier. From this trek came the idea to create a simple bistro, accessible and focused on the joy of gathering around a good meal. The first venue opens in Tours in 2021, with a philosophy that has stayed the same ever since: prioritizing short supply chains, a generous cuisine, and a warm welcome.

In Paris, Le Chien Fou will revive the specialties that built its reputation. The menu will especially spotlight the poulet fermier rôti stuffed with bread and garlic, the côte de bœuf to share, the os à moelle which has become one of the chain's iconic dishes, as well as other classics drawn from French home cooking.

One of the restaurant's standout features also lies in its cave à vins where guests can pick their own bottle from around sixty references. Esteemed estates, independent winemakers and more confidential cuvées make up this selection, designed to pair with the House's dishes!

The décor will likewise echo the bistro spirit with a deliberately retro aesthetic and large tables, the aim being to recreate the atmosphere of a meal among friends where you take the time to share several dishes and a good bottle of wine!
