L'Epicerie Saint-Sabin is a grocery store opened by two fervent food lovers: Florence and Laurent Pataille. Their aim was to create a contemporary, friendly place where we could enjoy quality products direct from the Midi-Pyrénées region.
Thanks to direct relationships with small producers, the Saint-Sabin grocery store offers fine, gourmet, quality products, selected mainly from the Midi-Pyrénées regions of Aveyron, Lot and Gers. In addition to being a grocery store, the brand also offers a catering service: You'll find charcuterie - andouille de porc noir de Bigorre, Aubrac beef, duck and goose - as well as a whole range of products based around truffles and violets (truffle oils and vinegars, foie gras and fruit chutneys, flower confits, tapenades, cantal, wild Baltic smoked salmon, soups, walnut cakes, etc.).
That said, if you're not sure, you can always sit down and enjoy a plate of charcuterie, cheese or foie gras to get a better idea of the quality of the products.
As you may have guessed, the Saint-Sabin grocery store also offers a catering service with four hot dishes a day - shepherd's pie with Aubrac beef, duck leg confit with seasonal salad - and of course an assortment of homemade desserts ranging from caramel beurre salé tarts to chocolate moelleux.
And that's not all, as the Saint-Sabin grocery store also offers a wine cellar with wines from the Midi-pyrénées, including Cahors, Côteaux de Glanes, wines from the Lot and Aveyron, as well as Gaillac, Fronton and Côte de Gascogne... While one might think that the cellar is 100% south-western, it does not shun other wine-growing regions, offering a range of Rhône Valley , Burgundy, Loire and Rousillon wines, Minervois from Domaine de Cazal and more.
What's more, the Saint-Sabin grocery store offers delivery services for charcuterie and cheese boards, as well as sandwiches for lunch. And the best part? It's possible to privatize the premises from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., with a maximum of 50 people, for aperitif dinners and wine tastings.
So, whether you're a fan of Midi-Pyrénées products or just curious about original, quality products, you're sure to find what you're looking for at the Saint-Sabin grocery store.
