The Ecotable 2026 Awards have just revealed the Parisian and French restaurants recognized for their environmentally responsible commitment.

For the third year in a row, the Trophées Écotable have honored 14 players in the food-service sector (from restaurants and hotels to bakeries and pastry shops, as well as regions and groups) for their sustainable practices and their eco-responsible initiatives.

Created in 2024, Ecotable is France's first sustainable catering award, highlighting the challenges of responsible consumption, such as reducing food waste, supporting sustainable fishing and meat production, greening plates, sourcing from short supply chains, paying producers a fair wage, and increasing the proportion of organic produce.

So, unlike rankings based on reputation, the Ecotable Trophies are based exclusively on the results of theEcotable environmental audit. The assessment is based on over 150 criteria, covering all aspects of restaurant operation, whether independent, collective, school or hotel.

The 8 major areas of assessment are as follows:

  • Non-food: choice of cleaning products, furniture, textiles
  • Communication: transparency with customers, team awareness-raising
  • Waste: waste management, sorting, zero waste
  • Ethics: working conditions, inclusion, governance
  • Sourcing: origin, seasonality, quality (organic, local, short supply chains)
  • Resources: water and energy consumption, packaging reduction
  • Menu: menu composition and analysis
  • Health: nutritional impact of dishes

This year, Écotable handed out 14 awards to the most dedicated establishments and players in the realm of the food transition and sustainability. Among them, several are based in Paris and in Île-de-France. Meet them!
