Madame Brasserie is the name of the new restaurant opened by Thierry Marx on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. Enjoy unobstructed views on Paris while nibbling one lovely creative French cuisine shining a light on local products, under an incredible glass roof. Here is what to expect.

A brasserie giving pride of place to French cuisine and sharing. “Fascinating and inspiring, the Tower represents the elegance and excellence of the French savoir-faire making the eyes of millions of yearly visitors sparkle. Madame Brasserie will allow them to get to know today’s Paris, and will attract – we hope – locals looking for new culinary discoveries. Madame Brasserie completes an extraordinary gourmet experience and the Tower confirms its spot as exceptional culinary venue”, Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel president Jean-François Martins states.

First, you may wonder how you can get up to Madame Brasserie without having to queue for hours. You should note that once you have made a reservation, you are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before your appointment. At the first check point to enter the area, a quick queue is dedicated to the restaurant. Then, you shall head to the hut set in the center to get your pass and enjoy the quick lift.

Before being seduced by the food, you have to be seduced by the venue. For Madame Brasserie, talented designer Ramy Fischler and architect Nicola Delon have come up with huge glassed doors and a decoration mostly based on sustainable raw materials with a modern design.

Madame Brasserie ticks all the boxes, from business lunch to family meals or romantic date. On the plate, Thierry Marx wishes to serve simple and indulging cuisine that is part of a sustainable approach. “As a craftsman, my mission consists of giving a long-lasting memory to something ephemeral. My challenge is to create simple, healthy, delightful cuisine as long lasting as the monument itself”, he says.

Note the menu changes at lunch and dinner, and prices changed depending on the seat you choose. For instance, it will be more expensive to eat by the window, by the Eiffel Tower or the Trocadero than in the center of the brasserie. For lunch, prices start from €48 per adult and €20 per child in the middle of the restaurant; €85 for the Eiffel Tower view and terrace, and €120 for the view on the Seine and Trocadero. Yet, note that views on the Eiffel Tower and Paris include a glass of champagne, wines and a cup of coffee, hence the increased rates. At dinner, the menu is more sophisticated and costs between €175 and €245.

The day we came, we discovered the lunch offer. A lovely menu, rather simple but tasty that we enjoyed because it served fresh and quality products. And the menu also changes with the seasons.
