Les Ulis had planned a National Day celebration for July 14 with spectacular, family-friendly activities on Monday, July 13, 2026. Unfortunately, the torch relay and the fireworks have been canceled following a prefectural decree. The other activities remain on.

Following a prefectural order issued by the Essonne Prefecture, fireworks displays are banned across the entire territory due to the extremely high wildfire risk and the current weather conditions. The Fête Nationale des Ulis is one of the department’s loveliest celebrations : packed with activities, featuring in particular a poetic lantern-lit procession organized early in the evening, as well as a community dance and a fireworks enhanced with a laser show, to make for a wonderful festive night!
