If you regularly use public transport in Paris and the Île-de-France region, you will no doubt have noticed the increase in underground works in recent months. Last summer alone, there were disruptions on lines 1, 3, 4, 7, 9, 13, and 14. This fall, work is continuing on several lines, including metro lines9, 13, and14. Line 12 is also affected due to the arrival of the new MF19 trains.
Specifically, trains will be suspended on part of line 12 from Monday, November 10 to Sunday, November 16, 2025. Train service will therefore be interrupted between Montparnasse – Bienvenüe and Mairie d’Issy. Eight stations will therefore be closed and inaccessible on metro line 12, namely Falguière, Pasteur, Volontaires, Vaugirard, Convention, Porte de Versailles, Corentin Celton, and Mairie d'Issy. During this period,Montparnasse – Bienvenüe station will become the temporary terminus. The RATP has announced that a replacement bus service will serve the stations affected by the closure.
