Please note! This week, and until August 8 inclusive, traffic is completely interrupted on line 14 of the Paris metro. Here's what you need to know.

Since Monday August 4, 2025, line 14 of the Paris metro has been closed along its entire route, from Saint-Denis Pleyel to Aéroport d'Orly, until Friday August 8 inclusive. This total interruption is due to construction work.

As it does every year, RATP takes advantage of the month of August, a period marked by a significant drop in passenger numbers, to carry out major operations requiring the temporary closure of lines or stations. This strategy enables us to limit the impact on users, while at the same time making progress on major worksites.

During the closure of line 14, a replacement bus will only be provided between Gare de Lyon and Olympiades, to maintain a link in south-east Paris. Outside this section, no replacement service is planned. Travelers to Orly airport can opt for theOrlyVal or take metro line 7 and then the T7 tramway to Villejuif-Louis Aragon.
