Ciné-Jardins 2025, the free outdoor film festival in the gardens of Paris

Summer is synonymous with discoveries, and evenings in the great outdoors. The Ciné-Jardins festival combines both! Every weekend from August 21 to September 6, 2025, this open-air film festival focusing on nature, ecology and the environment invites you to discover films, both well-known and lesser-known, screened in the gardens of Paris and its inner suburbs.

A great way to spend evenings with family and friends. All the more so asaccess is free and ! So there's no reason not to take advantage. This year, the following public and shared gardens in north-eastern Paris and nearby communes are taking part in the operation:

• Chapelle Charbon park (Paris 18),
• Jardin des Traverses (Paris 18),
• Parc de la Butte du Chapeau Rouge (Paris 19),
• Belleville park (Paris 20),
• Paysan Urbain/Ferme de Charonne (Paris 20),
• Bois de Charonne (Paris 20),
• Théâtre de Verdure/Square Toussaint Louverture (Paris 20),
• Le 56 (Paris 20),
• Les Arpents allotments (Stains),
• Terre Terre (Aubervilliers),
• Parc Jean-Moulin-les-Guilands (Bagnolet)

In addition to the chance to paint your own picture in the heart of nature, the festival includes a visit to the garden of the day and a participatory buffet, to combine the seventh art with gourmet delights; and the evenings end with a discussion with the guest artists.

At the same time, introductory documentary and environmental workshops are offered to young people from working-class neighborhoods, whose work is shown before the screenings.
