For those who'd like to take up the sport, or simply practice it occasionally, a number of clubs in Paris and the surrounding area offer an introduction to touchdowns and other sporting activities. We take a look at the clubs and stadiums where you can play American soccer!
With the new year also comes new resolutions, including the sport that many want to practice to keep themselves in better shape... And if you're not sure what to do, why not take advantage of the Super Bowl final to try your hand at American soccer? A number of clubs and stadiums in Paris and the Ile-de-France region offer you the chance to learn - or register - and discover all the subtleties of this rugby-like sport.
So where can you play American soccer in Paris? Within the capital, only one club (there were originally four, some of which have disappeared and others have merged) offers you the chance to play this sport: theAssociation sportive Paris Team 75 (ASPT 75). Training takes place at the Suzanne Langlen stadium in Paris's 15th arrondissement. As for matches, those of the Dragons senior team (as they're called...) take place on Saturday evenings, starting at 7pm.
