Art Basel Paris returns to the capital with a series of events dedicated tocontemporary art. These include the Art Basel fair, scheduled to take place under the glass roof of the Grand Palais from October 24 to 26, 2025, as well as various installations. Onavenue Winston Churchill, for example, contemporary art lovers will be able to contemplate works by Thomas Houseago, Leiko Ikemura, Wang Keping, Muller Van Severen and Arlene Shechet in the open air, free of charge. Another place, another installation, with the Kermit frog to be discovered on Place Vendôme!
Several Parisian galleries are also taking part in Art Basel Paris, including the renowned Galerie Perrotin. Galerie Perrotin has several spaces in the capital, including one that has been housed in an 18th-century mansion in the Marais district since 2005. Nearby is the Salle de Bal, a 700 m² showroom inaugurated in 2014. And let's not forget the mansion at 8 avenue Matignon, 400m² on 5 levels, which will be taken over by Galerie Perrotin in April 2025.
This autumn, to coincide withArt Basel Paris, Galerie Perrotin presents"Panorama", described as an"ambitious group show presented at the Salle de Bal, rue de Turenne, exceptionally open for the occasion, and at Perrotin Matignon".
On the program? A selection of works by Johan Creten, Monira Al Qadiri, Josh Sperling and Gregor Hildebrandt at the Salle de Bal, and by Hans Hartung, Lee Bae, Otani Workshop and Ali Banisadr at Perrotin Matignon.
Note that the"Panorama" exhibition is on view at Galerie Perrotin Marais (60 rue de Turenne) only from October 20 to 25, 2025 (open Mondays from 10am to 6pm and Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am to 7pm), then at Galerie Perrotin Matignon (8 avenue Matignon) from October 20 to December 20, 2025.
