Art Basel Paris 2025: the contemporary art fair opens at the Grand Palais and in Paris

Since 2022, this fair has been a dream come true for lovers of contemporary art. The must-attend contemporary art event returns to Paris this autumn. Over an entire weekend, from October 24 to 26, 2025, more than 200 galleries will take over the Grand Palais for the new edition of Art Basel Paris.

For this fourth edition, the arts event is pulling out all the stops: in addition to events at the Grand Palais, there are a number of free exhibitions and events at art venues and emblematic sites around the capital.

Art Basel Paris galleries present their artists in the newly renovated Grand Palais. This year, the Contemporary Art Fair announces over 200 art galleries from all over the world, presenting both well-known and emerging artists.

The fair is divided into three sectors:

• Galeries is the main sector for modern and contemporary art galleries presenting works of exceptional quality, including paintings, drawings, sculpture, installations, photography, video and digital art.
  
  
• Émergence is the sector that brings together galleries presenting young and emerging artists through solo exhibitions.
  
  
• Premise: a new sector showcasing atypical works and artists, including creations from before 1900!

The famous Conversations program takes place this year at the Petit Palais: artists from all over the world are invited to express their views on the present and future of the art world.
