While we wait for the most eagerly anticipated restaurants of 2017 to open, we're taking you back to the restaurants we loved discovering for you in 2016. From restaurants (soon to be) awarded stars to new restaurant-club concepts, not to mention star restaurants opening second locations, 2016 was a fruitful year for dining in Paris!



Bonhomie: restaurant, coffee shop, and cocktail bar Following the success of the Little Red Door and Lulu White cocktail bars, the Bonomy group continues to expand, opening a neo-Mediterranean restaurant, coffee shop, and cocktail bar called Bonhomie in the 10th arrondissement!



Mamma Primi arrives in Batignolles The Big Mamma family is growing again! After East Mamma and Ober Mamma, discover the latest addition: Mamma Primi. This new Italian restaurant opened its doors on September 1, 2016, in Batignolles in the 17th arrondissement of the capital.



Manko: the star of Peru on Avenue Montaigne A celebrity in South America but little known in Europe, Peruvian chef Gaston Acurio has opened his first Parisian restaurant on Avenue Montaigne. It's a timeless bubble from which you emerge amazed, your senses heightened, overwhelmed by the culinary experience you've just had. One of the MUST TASTE restaurants of the new year!



Le Camion Qui Fume restaurant Le Camion Qui Fume, the capital's pioneering food truck, is opening its first restaurant in Paris. You no longer need to chase after the famous truck to get your favorite burger. Just head to the 2nd arrondissement, on Rue Montmartre.



Wanted: la dolce vita at Halle Secrétan Wanted is a little corner of paradise that recently opened in the 19th arrondissement. Half Italian restaurant, half cocktail bar, and a workspace during the day, this place has everything it takes to become our new headquarters: mouthwatering pizzas, an exciting drinks menu, beautiful wood decor, and a large sunny terrace!



Melt: the Texan BBQ that fills the 11th with delicious smells Located on Rue de la Folie-Méricourt, between République and Bastille, Melt is the new carnivore's haven that will make smoked meat lovers' mouths water. Here, meat is prepared in the pure Texan tradition, in a wood-fired oven where it cooks for hours at low temperature under the watchful eye of Jeffrey Howard, a pitmaster who has come over from Dallas.



La table d'Hugo Desnoyer, the temple of carnivores The butcher to the stars, Hugo Desnoyer, has opened his restaurant at the Halle Secrétan in the 19th arrondissement. On the menu: meat, meat, meat. We promise you the best rib steak of your life.



Le Papillon, Christophe Saintagne's restaurant Le Papillon is Christophe Saintagne's restaurant, located in Wagram. After several years with the Alain Ducasse group, the Normandy-born chef has spread his wings and presents his world in a restaurant that opened in January 2016.



Champeaux, Alain Ducasse's restaurant in Les Halles Speaking of Alain Ducasse, he opened a brasserie in Les Halles, opposite the Nelson Mandela garden, in April 2016. The restaurant, Champeaux, offers market-fresh dishes with a twist in a relaxed atmosphere, and at reasonable prices. We love it!



Brasserie Réjane, a contemporary address at the Nolinski Brasserie Réjane is a great place to discover on Avenue de l'Opéra. With its subdued atmosphere and tweed sofas, Brasserie Réjane does justice to the Nolinski hotel, to which it is attached. Throughout the day, Parisians and residents of the Nolinski meet here to share delicious dishes prepared by chef Fulvio Pischedda.
