The Apéro, is a bit of a national pastime in France! Cheese, charcuterie, baguette and cocktails, that’s enough to have a great evening. From April 1 to September 30, 2026, the Fédération Française de l’Apéritif (FFA) is celebrating its 10th anniversary and launching a houseboat version guinguette on the banks of the Seine, between the Hôtel de Ville and Saint-Paul. A floating, open-air spot to come drink and nibble as soon as the good weather returns!
On the program: burgers, homemade fries, antipasti boards to nibble on and regional artisanal products, with a bar side offering a selection of craft beers from Île-de-France, plus wines and cocktails, in a festive atmosphere with DJ sets, brass bands, and a comedy club on select evenings. The barge is open Wednesday to Sunday until midnight, but naturally it’s best to come for the early hours when the sun is shining to enjoy it properly without the risk of rain.
Something to make the aperitif a little chicer, before the night carries on somewhere else (or not), lulled by the Seine’s current, with a vacation vibe ahead of its time!
