Bring Your Mug Day: 58 coffee shops offering free coffee in Paris this Friday - the list

It's the news that's going to wake up Paris: this Friday, September 19, 2025, Bring Your Mug Day is serving up free coffee, as long as you bring... your own mug! It's as simple as a little morning black.

In France, no fewer than 329 establishments are taking part, including 58 coffee shops in Paris (see list). A growing success, when we recall that the first edition in 2024 only counted a small batch of 80 establishments. This year, the event takes on a whole new dimension.

The idea: swap your disposable cup for your favorite mug, and leave with a free hot coffee. It's a tasty way of reminding people that every gesture counts, when you consider that over 16 billion cups end up in the garbage can every year around the world.

Behind the operation is theAssociation Réseaux Vrac et Réemploi, with a clear message: reuse should become a matter of course, not a constraint. And what better way to prove it than with a latte or cappuccino?
