The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025: The ranking of the world's 50 best restaurants revealed

It's time to discover the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025, the 50 best restaurants in the world, compiled every year for over 20 years by a panel of voters made up of 1,080 independent personalities from the world of gastronomy - renowned chefs, food journalists and gourmet travelers.

Last week, the restaurants ranked from 51st to 100th place were revealed, and for once, Parisians and Ile-de-France residents were virtually absent from the 51-100 ranking, with only one restaurant in the half-list: Le Doyenné in Saint-Vrain, Essonne, in 77th place (it was 70th in 2024). As a reminder, last year Alléno Paris at Pavillon Ledoyen was 79th in the half-list.

The rest of the ranking, from 50th to 1st place, has just been revealed on June 19, 2025. The 50 best restaurants in the world include the following French restaurants:

• Table de Bruno Verjus (Paris 12) in 8th place (-5 places compared to 2024)
• Plénitudeby Arnaud Donckele (Paris 1) in 14th place (+4 places compared to 2024)
• Septime (Paris 11) in 40th place (-19 places compared to 2024)
• L'Arpège (Paris 7) in 45th place (same place as in 2024)
