At Ryukishin, the star dish is ramen! Available in all shapes and flavors, it's sure to delight fans of authentic, traditional Japanese cuisine. And even the most vegan of you, since Ryukishin even offers a vegan ramen!

We agree that talking to you about theopening of a new ramen restaurant when it's 30 degrees outside is a bit incongruous. But once you've tasted Ryukishin's ramen, you'll thank us. Ryukishin has just opened at 59 rue de Richelieu, in the must-visit neighborhood for fans of Japanese gastronomy.

If you're a traveler, this name may not be unfamiliar to you, and that's normal, since Ryukishin is already present in several cities around the world: Osaka, Kyoto, Milan and Valencia. So it's in Paris that Tatsuji Ma Tsubara, the founder of Ryukishin, has chosen to set up shop.

At Ryukishin, the star dish is ramen. Available in all shapes and flavors, it's sure to delight fans of authentic, traditional Japanese cuisine. Because here, everything is homemade: from the noodles (made from high-quality Japanese flour) and broths to the sauce (made from mussels) and oils.

These typical dishes are based on 3 broths that simmer for hours, to which poultry and vegetables are added for a super-healthy result. For example, we tried the Sakaï (15.20€), Ryukishin 's very first ramen, whose recipe hasn't changed in 20 years; and the Ryukishin (15.80€), a creamy ramen topped with vegetable tempura, a slice of chicken and a slice of braised duck.

Since 2012, Ryukishin has been offering its customers a very special ramen, which they are the only ones to make in Paris: a vegan ramen (16.60€)! Instead of poultry, there's a broth made from vegetables, kombu seaweed, miso, dried shiitake mushrooms and soy milk.

Gourmets can also enjoy Tsukemen (noodles to be dipped in broth), fried chicken kara-age and delicious chicken gyozas (we tried the fried version and were won over!).

A trip to Japan guaranteed!

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
