Feel like eating a tasty pizza at the restaurant? Or buying a truffled burrata for your dinner? Starting April 12, 2019, you can do so at the same place because the Italian giant, Eataly, is coming to the French capital.
Set behind BHV Marais, this gigantic 4000-sqm store aims at becoming the ultimate temple of Italian gastronomy in Paris.
Since 2007, Eataly is storming the world with stores in Italy – of course – as well as in New York, Seoul, Stockholm, Dubai, Tokyo… among others! And now, it’s the French capital’s turn to fall for the Italian landslide.
Numbers make us shiver: a surface covering 4000-sqm where patrons and curious people can discover a 2500-sqm delicatessen, an indoor courtyard for fruits and vegetables, a café, a wine cellar including 800 Italian wine references and not less than 7 food areas in the basement and on the first floor of the store.
Eataly Paris expects to reach 2500 covers a day. It’s no surprising for this uncommon place open every day, even on Sundays, until midnight!
When we look at the success of La Felicita, the XXL restaurant by Big Mamma, its recipes and the hour-long queue to hope and get a seat in one of its food corners, we can say that the path has been pathed and Eataly comes to Paris right in time.
