The Floating Markets of the Southwest
For a weekend, Paris will go with the flow of the Southwest! The French departments of the Gers, Lot-et-Garonne and Tarn-et-Garonne will take over Paris from September 14 to 16, 2018 for the 19th edition of the Floating Markets of the Southwest. Wines, duck breasts, duck foie gras and fruits filled with sun await you at the Quai de Montebello and Quai de la Tournelle in the 5th arrondissement so that you can make your taste buds burst with joy.
Save the date! Techno Parade will be back in Paris on Saturday September 22, 2018 promoting electro culture and music. For the 19th year in a row, about fifteen floats await you for a very festive parade.
AccroCamp opens a new tree-climbing site within the outdoor activities center of the Boucles de Seine. Right in the forest, come and trudge and safely fly in the air and in a preserved natural area with a breathtaking view.
Fête à Neuneu
From August 31 to October 7, 2018, the Fête à Neuneu in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris will once again bring together crazy rides, merry-go-rounds, shows, concerts and fireworks.
On Sunday September 23, 2018, the Famillathlon is back at Paris Champs de Mars and other cities throughout France to initiate the youngest ones to sport while gathering families around playful activities! From September 18, 2018 to January 1, 2019, the Musée du Quai Branly dedicates a compelling exhibition to Madagascar, the first exhibition in France to question the history of Art of the Big island. For this major exhibition, over 360 works will be brought together in the museum’s areas especially chosen for their historic and ethnologic interest.
Caravage à Rome, the exhibition at the Musée Jacquemart-André
The Musée Jacquemart-André dedicates an exhibition to Caravage (1571-1610) ’s friends and enemies, this painter from the 17th century and father of the chiaroscuro. For this event held from September 21, 2018 to January 28, 2019, 10 masterpieces of the artist will be exceptionally exhibited including 7 never displayed in France before.
Underground Effect, live street Art at La Défense
From September 18 to 23, 2018, 15 street artists will take over La Défense square as part of the Urban Week Paris La Défense. This project, UNDERGROUND EFFECT, is a beautiful opportunity to meet graffiti artists, talk with them and buy their works: and this year, all artists are women!

For a month, the Petit Palais welcomes the masterwork of Itō Jakuchū: Dōshokusai-e [the colorful realm of living beings], a collection of 30 suspended scrolls known for the finesse of the drawings and the brightness of the colors, remained bright 250 years after they have been created.
