The Stanford Symphony Orchestra(SSO) is one of the jewels of the American university music scene, rooted in a rich history dating back to the founding of Stanford University in 1891. Comprising nearly a hundred talented students, the SSO delights the Stanford campus each year with a series of outstanding concerts.
