Iván Navarro: his luminous works exhibited at Galerie Templon, our photos

Fans ofcontemporary art and luminous works are invited to Galerie Templon - Grenier Saint-Lazare from May 17 to July 19, 2025, to discover the impressive work ofIván Navarro. The Chilean artist presents his " Cyclops " exhibition. On two levels, you'll be able to admire a dozen of the artist's electric sculptures.

Through his deeply hypnotic works, Iván Navarro offers a sensory immersion into his universe, imbued with stellar poetry, but also with questions about domination, control and imprisonment.

On the first floor, we come face to face with a monumental sculpture in the form of a 3.6-metre-high cyclops, made from multicoloured recycled neon. Further on, we discover the"Sun Traffic" installation, with traffic lights displaying the word " sun ", followed by the new"Shell Shocks" series, highlighting the traumas of the post-war era.

The tour continues in the gallery's basement with"Polka" and"Waves", two fascinating works created from neon lights, sapele wood, a mirror, one-way glass and electrical energy. There's also"The Milky Way", typographic " crossword puzzle " sculptures, and"Lepton II" and"Zodiac Constellations", revealing thousands of colored dots or stellar silhouettes etched into the surface of two-way mirrors.

Iván Navarro 's " Cyclops " is an intriguing exhibition that both challenges and dazzles. The installation will undoubtedly appeal to contemporary art lovers in search of originality and optical games. See it at Galerie Templon - Grenier Saint-Lazare in Paris until July 19, 2025.

Iván Navarro has exhibited all over the world, including at the MicroMuseo di Arte Contemporanea della Tuscia in Italy (2023), the Centquatre in Paris (2021), and the Crystal Bridges Museum in the USA (2019). Proof of his renown, the Chilean artist has also been chosen, in collaboration with architect Dominique Perrault, to design a work for the Villejuif - Gustave Roussy station of the Grand Paris Express. This project to transform the station will be unveiled in July 2026.
