Chez Monix, the winter chalet and gondolas return to Splash in Asnieres-sur-Seine

For this cold season, Asnières-sur-Seine has a remarkable winter attraction in the shape of Chez Monix at Le Splash, transforming the banks of the Seine into a picturesque ski resort, without the skis. Le Splash, usually known as a popular summer venue thanks to its swimming pool and ideal waterside location, will be transformed into Chez Monix, an ephemeral mountain restaurant, from November 6, 2023 until the return of spring.

For the third year running, Chez Monix has established itself as the must-visit winter destination in the Hauts-de-Seine region. This season, the site is transformed into a veritable Christmas village, encircled by a forest of fir trees and adorned with over 20 gondolas and chairlifts, adding to the ambience a snowplough, snowmobile, chalet, fireplace, vintage skis and cauldrons.

For one season, Splash 's decor adopts the attributes of a mountain winter, transforming the interior into a warm chalet with wood and carpet. On the culinary side, the Les Pas Parisiens group, which owns the place, offers a varied mountain menu, including raclettes, Savoyard fondues, as well as comforting dishes such as pot-au-feu, stuffed cabbage, Savoyard potée, and blanquette de veau. Grill lovers won't be outdone by options like grilled sea bass, ribs and prime rib.
