Head to the 13th arrondissement to discover Tempero, Alessandra Montagne-Gomes' grocery-canteen-dining room, opened just opposite her restaurant Nosso. In the glasses, clean wines, on the plates, the chef's childhood recipes, and on the shelves, tons of good local produce.

4 years after the closure of Tempero, chef Alessandra Montagne-Gomes unveils version 2.0 of this project, just a stone's throw from the BNF, La Felicita and opposite her Nosso table. Conceived as a veritable larder, this new address stretches across a beautiful space bathed in natural light thanks to its large bay windows, and distinguishes itself by its triple purpose, at once a grocery store where you can pick up the chef's finest locavore finds , plucked from the short circuit of over 100 producers; a dining cellar where you can sip a glass of clean wine while nibbling on fine produce; and a veritable little affordable canteen, at lunchtime.

Takeaways include fresh produce from Zone Sensible in Seine Saint Denis, cheeses from Laiterie de Paris, nitrite-free charcuterie from Maison Montalet, gluten-free products from KOM&SAL, seafood from Maison Memmi, spices from Ankhor and La Plantation, and seasonal home-made preserves produced in small batches by Nosso's brigade.

But it's also possible to sit down and eat on site, with a fine range of ready-made sandwiches, nodding to Nosso's signature recipes: croque-pao de queijo, onion confit, cured ham, herb salad, old comté cheese; homemade brioche bread, duck kefta, cabbage and mustard pickles, homemade mayonnaise; focaccia, homemade pastrami, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes... The hardest part will be choosing!

In recent weeks, the chef has also taken up the challenge of offering affordable lunch menus, €24 for a starter/main course or main course/dessert, and €28 for a starter/main course/dessert, to be combined with the proposals on the slate. The stars of Tempero's menu are the daily-changing cocottes (18€). At the time of our visit, a creamy fish moqueca with sweet coconut flavors, spiced up with a spicy sauce created by Alessandra Montagne, and a neat grilled chicken with gratin.

Don't miss out on the starters (8€), which are particularly tasty, like the black pudding croquettes with sweet potato and lime purée, andthe focaccia with candied peppers and feta. And, of course, with a glass of natural, organic or biodynamic wine, carefully selected by Nosso's head sommelier Aurélien Gil-Artagnan, or a craft beer or French spirit.

Before you leave, let yourself be tempted by a dessert (7€) such as the golden, creamy flan, or the tangy mango and passion fruit panna cotta, and a good cup of Maison Caron coffee!
