The five-star Les Jardins du Faubourg hotel opens up the hidden terrace of its Italian restaurant, Il Giardino, just as the sun is finally showing its face in the capital. Chef Davide Pecorella, who has worked in prestigious establishments such as Georges and Georges V, is at the helm of this fine dining establishment. This year, he has created a new menu with dishes that reflect his personality, using products from his native Italy.
Discover refined Italian cuisine on the terrace for lunch or dinner. Its elegant, intimate setting promises a wonderful interlude for a journey to the heart of Italian gastronomy. Whether it's the sunshine that streams across the verdant terrace during the day, or the romantic, luminous atmosphere that settles in at nightfall, your experience at Il Giardino is sure to delight.
With the return of fine weather, it's also Aperitivo season! Chef Davide Pecorella, a native of Naples, and his brigade offer a selection of Stuzzichini - those little Italian bites to savor at the end of the day - to be shared in a warm atmosphere. On the menu: mini club sandwiches, salmon millefeuilles, mozzarella in carrozza or mini arancini, all accompanied by Italian-flavored cocktails for a moment of relaxation and conviviality.
During our last test last year, we were able to discover: half-cooked tuna with roasted endives and saffron, pumpkin cream with ricotta di Bufala and parsley oil, Vitello Tonnato or mozzarella cream accompanied by a crispy egg.
Main courses included chef-inspired risotto, sea urchin taglioni, and meat mezze. Dessert was the Chef's signature tiramisu. These dishes offer a culinary escapade in Italy.
Simple, tasty dishes are sure to please. On Sundays, you can also savour an exceptional Italian brunch on the terrace under the sublime Japanese medlar tree that takes pride of place on this summer terrace.
With Il Giardino,"Les Jardins du Faubourg" offers a gourmet break in the heart of Paris, in the calm of its patio. Chef Davide Pecorella takes you on a journey to the heart of Italian tradition. Ready to be tempted?
