Welcome to the Evening Candlelight Tours at the Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle. Every Saturday evening from May 16 to September 26, 2026, step into a timeless world that feels like walking through a dream. These nighttime visits invite you to explore this magnificent monument bathed in gentle, subdued lighting. The experience continues as you stroll through the 33 hectares of gardens, illuminated by the warm glow of 2,000 candles.
A romantic evening par excellence! Lulled by baroque music, you stroll through this enchanting setting. For the occasion, water games are launched in the fountains as soon as night falls. Inside, admire the immersive projection on the ceiling of the Grand Salon.
You can round off this wonderful experience with a romantic dinner at Les Charmilles, a champagne and macaroon aperitif at Le Songe de Vaux or even a picnic in the herbs at a dedicated venue. Last but not least, the dome of Vaux-le-Vicomte, perched 25 meters high with a 360° view, can be privatized for a romantic dinner. Book quickly, places are going fast!
Finally, to bring this dreamlike moment to a close, a fabulous firework display of gold and silver cuts through the night. During the show, the voice of Jean de La Fontaine, sung by André Dussollier, takes you back 360 years, to relive the festivities of August 17, 1661, which have left their mark right up to the present day!
