Camille Guérin takes flight! After successful stints as executive chef at Douze, the Ritz Paris, the Ritz Carlton and La Réserve de Beaulieu , the young chef opens her first restaurant in Paris's 7th arrondissement.
More than just a name, the chef is giving us a gourmet order: A Table! With its thirty or so seats, the restaurant offers a bistronomic menu, steeped in Camille Guérin's childhood memories. The lunchtime menu is concise: two starters, two main courses (including a vegetarian dish), cheese and dessert.
For dinner, we offer a unique formula with three starters to share, a meat, fish or vegetarian dish, a cooked dessert and a cake to share. Simplicity is often where the greatest discoveries lie!
For lunch, you can opt for one of two menus: starter/main course or main course/dessert at 29€, or starter/main course/dessert at 34€. Let's face it, the second option is best for big eaters, as the plates aren't served in excess.
The cuisine is simple but meticulous, a small neighborhood bistro that is sure to please local workers: perfect egg and parsley mushrooms; smoked beet, anchovies and sorrel vinaigrette; roasted pumpkin, falafel-style squash patty and mint-orange yoghurt sauce; fish, roasted cauliflower with smoked paprika and ponzu-vinegared rice; before finishing with a chocolate mousse spiced up with an interesting grape and roasted buckwheat coulis.
Of course, Camille Guérin makes it a point of honor to select choice products from short circuits and direct producers, and to respect the environment. Committed to sustainable gastronomy, the chef has made a point of reducing her environmental footprint as much as possible, both in the running of the restaurant and in the creation of her menu.
A friendly restaurant in the 7th arrondissement.
