Good friends, good food and a good atmosphere - isn't that one of the secrets of everyday happiness? While Paris has plenty to offer gourmets in search of great nuggets where they can meet up to share a moment full of flavors and good humor, the inner suburbs also abound in gourmet spots that are well worth the detour. This time, we take you across the Periph' to the town of Clichy-la-Garenne, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, to discover a comforting and convivial address that presents itself as a QG for bon vivants.

Not far from the Mairie de Clichy metro station, the Rosette restaurant is sure to please gourmets in search of traditional cuisine in an ultra-warm setting that echoes Lyon, the world capital of gastronomy. Behind this vintage-style spot is a passionate couple: chef Arthur Auguy and sommelier Camille Aldon. Having cut their teeth in the kitchens of world-renowned chefs such as Thierry Marx and Alain Ducasse, this dynamic duo launched their own adventure by imagining this gourmet spot that honors French terroir.
Here, we're treated to seasonal cuisine that plays on our guilty pleasures, in a setting that pays homage to the spirit of a Lyonnais bouchon. A short menu, changing according to inspiration and new arrivals, reveals mouth-watering recipes concocted from sourced, organic produce, with the added bonus of good value for money.
Rosette introduces us to her fresh and light world with a starter of snacked scallops accompanied by celery and basil, which add a note of freshness while bringing out the natural flavors of this shellfish. For lovers of good soups, the excellent velouté de potimarron et châtaigne (pumpkin and chestnut velouté) is also worthy of mention, its dried fruit being particularly present and delicately perfuming this comforting starter.
A start that inspired us to stay with the fondant, with a juicy rack of veal accompanied by equally tender brocoletti. It's here that we recognize Rosette's hallmark: modern dishes that remind us of the emotions that only traditional cuisine can revive, with that touch of comfort and regressiveness that reminds us of our tenderest age.
Which brings us to dessert, with an absolute must: Rosette's chocolate cake, served directly from a copper pan and guaranteed to melt chocoholics with its runny center.
Another Proust's madeleine par excellence is the famous tarte tatin, destructured and accompanied by a raw cream that adds even more deliciousness and softens the sweetness of the roasted apples. From start to finish, you'll feel right at home, and the conviviality and sharing of good flavours will make you want to come back again and again.
