Paris Society 's ultra-glam addresses have no more secrets for you - Maxim's, Laurent, or l'Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay... We thought we'd covered it all. But now Baronne enters the scene, draped in her finest finery. Nestled in the listedHôtel Salomon de Rothschild, this exceptional restaurant combines the splendor of yesteryear with contemporary art de vivre.
Tucked away in a quiet street in the 8th arrondissement, just a stone's throw from the Étoile, this 19th-century mansion, once the residence of Baroness Adèle de Rothschild, has seen the cream of fashion and contemporary art come and go. Fashion shows, sumptuous weddings, iconic aftershows... Today, the myth is reinvented with a table that's already thrilling the whole of Paris.
And while the main courtyard sets the tone, it's hard to imagine what awaits you inside... Vertiginous ceilings (13 meters high!), monumental staircase, lounges in succession, plant frescoes, marble fireplaces, sparkling chandeliers... Every detail seems to whisper stories from another time. At the helm of this masterful décor is Corinne Sachot (CoCo, La Renommée...), who infuses this setting with her art of blending memory and modernity. You'd almost expect a marquise to appear in a crinoline dress... As for the Parisians, they've swapped their powdered wigs for sharp looks, determined to savor this new address that's got the city buzzing.
And as every great lady must have a garden worthy of the name, Baronne offers a 4,000 m² green setting. Here, you can lunch in the open air, dine under the foliage and drink a toast under the stars. An air of garden party chic, to be enjoyed in fine weather. The Baroness would have loved it.
On the plate, Paris Society deploys its know-how of well-executed chic. High-flying grills, gourmet plates and seasonal produce share the limelight. At lunchtime, the ambiance is chic and relaxed, ideal for business meetings in the nicer neighborhoods. In the evening, the restaurant is transformed into a glamorous stage for the Parisian elite.
It all starts with refined starters: yellowtail carpaccio with smoked vinaigrette, pan-seared foie gras, generous Burgundy snails, or lobster salad with frisée, lamb's lettuce and black truffle. Exceptional dishes then take center stage: Wagyu ribeye steak, "pâtes bleues" farmhouse poultry from Challans, whole turbot, braised Iberian pluma, small lobsters with parsley butter... And for lovers of ultra-luxurious comfort food? Linguine with lobster and creamy bisque, or a Wagyu beef burger with smoked cheddar.
To finish on a high note, indulge in a divinely chocolatey soufflé, an elegant raspberry & pistachio cheesecake, a signature ice-cream sundae or mini doughnuts to dip in sauces as indecent as they are indulgent.
Housed in the Baronne's former dining room, a hushed, enchanting bar awaits those with a taste for exceptional cocktails (with or without alcohol). Wood panelling, velvet, soft lighting: the ideal spot for a tête-à-tête or an impromptu nightcap. Signature cocktails on the menu include the Adèle (oleo saccharum passion & lychee, absinthe, martini and champagne), the Hanska (Belvedere vodka, Lillet Rosé and raspberry cream), and the Baron, a daring blend of 12-year-old Macallan whisky and house licorice.
Between sips, you'll find a selection of snacks: Iberian ham with pan con tomate, popcorn with spicy mayonnaise, Wagyu beef tacos, or Perles de Bretagne oysters.
Open every day for lunch and dinner, Baronne resurrects the festive soul of theHôtel Salomon de Rothschild, reconciling the splendor of yesterday with the audacity of today. An enchanting decor, a masterful menu and an irresistibly Parisian ambience, where elegance flirts with festivity... Baronne is already the talk of the town!
